This is a look at articles on school violence from 2025. I save some news that comes through as I do my research. I keep them as references. I was going to post several stories here. However, if you can digest these few in this post you are truly interested. Some information just breaks hearts. Keep going. Knowledge is power.

The first two links are about a plot foiled when girls planned to kill a classmate, two videos. The second one is how the parents of the targeted child respond. The plot was in 2024 but the dates on the videos are from 2025. The targeted boy is Autistic per article.
How old are the girls? How was the plot discovered? Not a white supremacy issue.

Marketing professors study school shootings. This is not discussed often but when you watch these events long enough, you do see patterns emerge. The Columbine Effect did not stay in Littleton.

Fourth link on Uvalde: Copy and paste
Uvalde, like Sandy Hook, got caught up with outside news and podcasters. My theory is that any type of plan can be foiled. You just have to have some knowledge and think, something does not smell right. There is risk in speaking up, but the stakes are high with murder, fraud etc.
I know getting information can be a legal battle even if no event happened.
People fought to keep information private at Uvalde and other schools Why? There is some information on the shooter in here. The mother was afraid of her son it states. This article is from August 2025. When was the Uvalde shooting? Information about the shooter states he had a problematic history. He did kill his grandmother first.
Families of victims had to fight to get information. If you are interested in the lengthy trial of the policeman, try the many lawtube channels. The trial was in January 2026.
Remember the groups that think everything is staged by the CIA or by people who want to take away all guns were part of the problem with Uvalde. Again, I do think these shooters not only have internal triggers but do talk to others. Get to know your child. The mother of this shooter had the grandmother care for him after a police call to the house a few months before the attack. What did the police do per the article?
Prevention, Intervention, Rescue and Recovery. It can be a choice of actions.
The father in Bend may have remembered Uvalde. Did the shooter's mother know of it?
Bend is not the first shooting at a school that the shooter gained access by shooting into the building structure.
Fifth link: Part of the Colin Gray trial from earlier this year. Colin Gray is the shooters father. He was found guilty. (Trial was televised, and on YT)
The shooting occurred in 2024 at the start of the school year. The shooter shots rang out in Appalachia High School. The principal testifying works at the middle school. Part of the script is below the video under "more". Who cleaned up the graffiti? Any warning signs?
