The shooting at Uvaldi was under such scrutiny and frankly, after it happened, unless it was about the numbers and the police response or unlocked doors, the same talking points came across. I did not hear much about the shooter, other than of his deadly actions. I do not remember his name being a big thing. No one wants to make the killer famous.
Even when I wrote my book, I could not find a lot of information. It seemed in 2023 it was not a favored topic. Too many deaths and a lot of questions.
Do you know some still think it was a staged event? How cruel are supposedly normal people? Is the CIA really going against our children? That is too deep for me. Do gun rights of law abiding citizens have to be shredded due to criminals, sane or insane?
I watched the January 2026 trial of the police officer put on trial. He was acquitted. See earlier posts on why I tend to agree with his acquittal. The murderer was already in the building when he arrived. Many missteps/complete, irreversible failures happened long before the shooting.

How successful are SROs once the attack has begun?
I am about prevention. If one is freaked out on techniques to use before an attack or only want guns banned, then my opinions will not help.
Maybe a video, semi biographical, of the shooter, will help those who believe once the horse is out of the barn, law enforcement may fall short. As Cruz, the shooter from that Parkland high school in 2018 was screaming, "help me", how many times was this shooter ignored?
Believe me, criminal is criminal, so blaming the bully doesn't go over well with me. This shooter's story references bullying alot. Family was a huge factor. How mentally ill do we need to make people?
This shooter targeted an elementary school and it states why. I had a problem with inviting high school students or allowing them in uninvited into my children's schools.
The comment section are always interesting in these videos, so do not miss out.
Why do we study failures to protect, why not? The killers do. This video even references some of that copy cat behavior right in his own family.
