Happiness is a warm...

...the song says gun, but it is a John Lennon song, long considered having double entendres. What do you think of when you hear the song?

Two campuses, one an elementary school (Newport News) and one a college campus (Cornell) are now under viral scrutiny because of assaults, not deaths. The weapons are discussed, both would be warm after use.

White powder may also be present.

I am not sure what actually makes a story go viral. We do know why they go public.

My book explains why I went public, but none of it went viral. See book for details.

I have done a few postings about both campuses. Be discerning. Court cases or serious investigations have been held for both incidents. One campus event involved children under 18. The initials of the children in the elementary school case are allowed. JT is now infamous.  The college campus involves people over 18. They are all adults. Crimes may or may not have been committed. The one adult is Jane Doe. The men have been identified even without a criminal case.  Some may ask why? The justice system does try to protect victims or alleged victims from public exposure. Closed doors supposedly do that too.

The news and analysis are polarizing on both incidents. I am one to comment because I write about child assault prevention, but I get info first. My book explains why.

I reference my book because the devil is in the details and in sworn taped testimony described in it. It is not as scintillating as these two campus stories because prevention of crimes was and is important to me.

One of the reasons I did not pursue activity to limit the rights to own a gun can be summarized in these two cases. There ought to be a law, right? Accusers and the accused have rights. Due process is important.

The weapons were chosen. In one case, a child took a weapon without adults consenting. In the other, adults consent is widely discussed. In the second case, also, the use as a weapon will be determined also. Not everything is clear when it comes to the definition of "weapon". Is it?

So, with the viral videos on these two campuses:

Which warm weapon do you want to limit? Or are their limitations on both already?

Neither one of them are frying pans.

Is anyone happy?

ASK..asking saves kids and adults.

Double entendre: What did John Lennon use to create his song?

Rinse and repeat:

I do not think either case is a laughing matter. Do you think, like the fat man in my book, that any of this is funny?

The heads are rolling. Some for the legally required protective roles they played and what they failed to do.
