was a prophet. God assigned him a tough job according to Scripture but it is not just about Israel.

Today at Mass, the priest spoke about our Guardian Angels and God. His homily included thoughts on rear view mirrors and connections. He either read my book recently or is it that we listen to God and have common ground.
At times, some people will say, "mind your own business, it is my life." Ok, that is true. How many times do I remember my mom's advice that I did not heed? (Let me count the ways.) Some of her ignored sage advice came into reality about 35 years after she spoke it to me. There have been financial and emotional costs as a result of not understanding the comment. It was not about teaching. During and after the turmoil, I trusted God to see me through. I still trust Him and I continue to make lemonade.
God sends messengers. If the Bible is inspired as we believe, He has always sent messengers and warnings. How it played out was dependent on free will as my experience demonstrates. Neither God nor my mom stopped me in my plan. She did her job. I paid a price for not understanding.
So how does this connect to the broad topic of this blog. Read other posts!
God sees the bigger picture. If the news is true on the Brown University shooting last year, what would have happened if the custodian had been taken seriously? How about all the warnings issued about Columbine?
Before each school attack come warning signs because God sees the bigger picture. Trust, He sends genuine messengers. His Sacred Heart is in the right place whether you believe or not.
Love,
Marian
