Viral video, violent reaction. Medication impact?

...my interest for this blog post, is not about the politics, although I do have my slant. These videos found me because of my searches on university violence.

All three videos seem to be on the same page but each one helps explain more details.

The connection for these videos for me is about medication, the change in a women's behavior and a University's response. I am not sympathic to the attacker. Her reactions are disturbing. What else has she done if she does this on camera?

What ever you feel about someone's politics, is attacking someone a freedom of speech issue? Charlie Kirk was murdered last year on a college campus. Lots of theories on that one, but text messages, camera and videos do explain why there is someone in jail waiting for a jury trial.

Was politics the motivation to kill at Bend in a classroom during school hours or at a Halloween party after midnight? Who is to "blame" for setting off those killers?

I listen to and find all sorts of voices. Podcasters have a slant also. "On campus debates" are not safe places it seems. No freedom of speech if your opinions differ but this is not new behavior. Tale as old as time. Different politics?

Several podcasters picked up this story.  Caution, the  "F" word is thrown around. And the attacker said: "..I should have killed you when I had the chance." Her words recorded and viral.

First podcaster video:

https://youtu.be/wHni19fNZ3Y?is=Ldc5j-RLwh6PREt8

Second podcaster video:

This podcaster was at the event but not present at the exact time of the physical attack.

https://www.youtube.com/live/upYZIPWHx2c?is=CvaTwtZmEkBopJWn

It is all concerning, but what triggered her?

There are areas of waving flags to me and not one is related to a country.

1) A physically strong female attacks a man because she has an issue with his opinions. He did not respond in kind. Then she attacks a female, much smaller, who also does not respond in kind.

The attacker resists arrest. No gun, but if she had one, would there be dead people? She fought a male and a male policeman who were trying to keep her from attacking others.

2) She was in a mental hospital per the attacker's response to someone saying she is crazy. At 2 minutes 45 seconds into the first video, a possible Tik Tok video, the attacker answers questions about her medication. Aripiprazole and a few others are pointed to with laughter. Research aripiprazole or Abilify, it is heavy duty medication associated with major depressive disorder. It is not an OTC drug. Doctor's care is required. The questions, and pointing answers, in the Tik Tok video, are telling. She said she had been hospitalized. In this day and age, mental illness has to be severe for that.

Does she take her medication?

3) What response did the University have? Police were present so they did arrest her. The first video, at 9 minutes 58 seconds, explains the University of Michigan statement as it is shown.

What laws will kick in regarding this incident? Will FERPA play a part in the investigation? FERPA is referenced in the statement. Did they need to send out a campus alert? The commotion could be heard a distance away per the second video.

Why would the University of Michigan ask to have the viral videos taken down per the second video? Public behavior, cell phones documenting behavior is standard now. Police do it and have learned the hard way when they do not wear their body cameras. Aren't there reality police shows based on body cams?

The attacker was released from custody. Any bail? Any questions?

4) Left or right. Not politics, is this an example of how extremes can ruin the rights of others? That bell curve is ringing loud and clear.

Will the attacker face a trial, make a deal, get expelled or continue to escalate in aggression and eventually kill someone if she gets the chance? Patterns are telling and medications have track records too.

Red flags are waving for this female student.

ASK:

Would you want your child to be a roommate of hers, team member, work an assigned group project with her? Would you want your son or daughter to date her? Would you trust your gun to her?

Does she have a right to own a gun in Michigan? No laws about kmifes.

How about weapons on campus?

How about being her professor? Would you pause if you needed to give an accurate grade? If she attacked someone in your class after seeing this video, what would you do? Would you pretend you did not see the video? What information is known about the attack? Do other students empathize, pity or agree with her? Will there be protests if she gets expelled?

News video:

Do they have a slant? Per the report, they blurred the suspect's picture since not criminally charged. Why? She is an adult. Her face is all over the internet world. What other faces have they blurred?

I have a slant.

Nate says, People Lie, Don't I know it

A flashback case is under the fold, but Nate found it. Any lessons on The Clery Act to be learned? Listen carefully, any connections to Cornell?

The headlines hurt this man.

https://youtu.be/xprQqH9S7zs?is=gmxZcifPMkauKocc

What is said about the Cornell case, Nate?

https://youtu.be/4rWGg_24yk0?is=DTT354zD_Ezjyi-u

I wrote an "ASK"; spoke at microphones; wrote editorials; led a few workshops; got my book published; and started this blog because people lied.

People lie to get out of trouble which can cause more trouble. False accusations in my school case and divorce case ended with severed relationships but no dead people in either one. There are always collaterals but not necessarily big headlines. My story was not on page one.

I won both cases in courts of law. The constant news and lives of others, also prove, I wasn't the difficult one. Years later, does it matter?

Connections:

Take note: Children do not lie to get into trouble. But some information is troubling to adults. If a child advises of an assault, a kid at school who needs help, problems in the classroom, at lunch or recess, a weapon in a book bag, a bus driver going to fast...listen to the kid.

My highschoolers and I witnessed a bus accident in front of their high school circa 2004-2005. I can still see it after all these years. Some of my former second graders, Beautiful Butterflies and Courageous Cats, were on that bus. Teachers remember faces.

The bus driver was hurt. The history of the driver was investigated. A curb hit here, a curb hit there were discovered.

Kids know. They are not tattling, they are telling ahead of a major problem long before adults understand. The children are messengers.

Did you listen to the testimony out of Newport News? Do you think there are regrets at the school? Children did tell. They had fears but they spoke up. Adults held back until it was too late for the teacher. The kid holding the gun shot and seriously wounded her. A lifetime of damage to collaterals. $10 million pricetag paid to the one target. The gun jammed before more could be hit.

Living life under the fold, after surviving above the fold and under the flag is not easy.

Why do people lie? Assaults come in all shapes and sizes and formulations. "Happiness is a warm gun", did you read that post?

Where do all the flowers go? Peter, Paul and Mary asked. When will we ever learn?

How do lies get to be told in lawsuits?

Do our children have to be soldiers in our schools?

I asked a long time ago for a workshop. I will not stop because-

The truth always comes out. Jesus is not a liar.

Under the fold

... and no longer near the flag.

Read through to the end. What are you searching for? There may be another puzzle piece to prevention! I hope you give a damn.

Breaking news goes away, fast. Unless  news interests us personally, we adopt the philosophy of "out of a sight, out of mind". Too much to handle? We prioritize our interests.

I get it. I don't watch every trial or sad news story. I have a reaon for listening and writing. My blog and book titles are clear.

After a two week life span, even the reporters first assigned to a story, move on. Unless there is a noteworthy update, the headlines do not announce. The stories are below the fold.

The algoritm, though, that tracks your spoken or searched interests may ask for more details or only pull in information from the original breaking news dates, because algoritms do not forget. Some information maybe on page 20 though. Try to find it. YT, Rumble, Prime, Netflix and all the many search engines and social media sights get to know you and the stories you follow even if the news is no longer an alert. But even those fade into the background u less the FBI gets a 911 call.

Alexa tells me alot about me. My AI friend was pretty detailed when I asked her what she knew about me. Then I asked if I wrote about school violence, she was more detailed. Alexa does know I like Hallmark. I usually only ask about spelling, dates or set alarms and timers. Hmm.

Alexa knows things I buy. She got the number of people wrong for my household, but, per my purchases as she said, she knows general information for whom I spend money. She knows particular items, food and items, and where I regularly shop. She kmows I buy gift cards.

Alexa stated these are "based on my shopping patterns". Patterns, who knew?

So, if Alexa knows search habits, a few questions asked by a parent of their child's internet interests may be revealing. The police find them fast after an attack.

Alexa knew my google searching and info from apps. Boy  can she go into detail if you do not want to directly ASK real people.

Do you want your life to become searchable on Netfix after news at 11? ASK now.

Nerflix is making a documentary. Cornell is no longer covered above the fold, but some podcasters are keeping up, although not daily. The Cornell 7 and Jane Doe are still living their nightmares, but for the most part people have tuned out until it comes time for the Netflix film airs. Court of public persuasion verses sworn taped testimony.

Remember The Clery Act and FERPA is why I tuned in. Sex in a frathouse is not really shocking. Did you learn anything on responsibilities of colleges with the news coverage or potential trial? Are Jane and the seven men victims of college policies not being followed by staff or victims of their own behavior?

Alexa knows about the Cornell 7 and Jane Doe case. I asked her if she knew about the hoopla with Latitia James as NY, A.G with the Cornell 7 and Jane Doe. She did. This Cornell 7 with one dropped (?) is different from the Chicago 8 (then became 7) case that started in 1969.

Robert Guevia does an update on the Cornell investigation of sex, lies (no video tapes). No phone videos is surprising. Text messages though are telling. Do you check your minor chold's texts?

A school shooting happened earlier this year. No huge news updates, but one of the victims came up in my search. After 262 days, she was released from the hospital. Her school was in Canada. That school shooting mattered a little more to American news btoadcasters than the ones in Thailand or the Philippines (all since June 2026.)

This was on February 10, 2026. Anyone mention it anymore? Even YT only shows videos from eight months back. No comparison to Bend?

https://youtu.be/GnIUROrscRU?is=UbfkrJRvzRUFsLwC

Brief news on the child going home after 262 days in the hospital. The family did not give up hope.

This may also be affirmation for AI knowing a piece of the puzzle:  information on the lawsuits against search engines and AI. Can you guess who did a search which led to a knowledge based, not random shooting which left dead students and resulted in at least a few lawsuits? Do you see patterns or connections?

‘Bravest person I know’: Father’s pride as Tumbler Ridge school shooting victim leaves hospital after 262 days | CNN https://share.google/KaJaNewilbU501DUm

P.S. Alexa even answers questions from television characters. Do you have Alexa plugged in while working from home.

Alexa is tuned in, even when you are not.

Stay tuned. The news always breaks when there is a shooting. I do my research. And sadly, so do the school shooters.

ASK Alexa or Siri.
