I love trains. It is my favorite form of transportation. I have a bucket list wish to travel over night on one.
A real train wreck occurred in Spain today. Multiple casualaties. It is heartbreaking. I can only watch in small increments. It is real life. I just want to know the facts but survivors or family members will be interviewed. Questions will bring attention for a few days.
Beside bodies, the train itself will be autopsied. Causes of deaths revealed. The death toll is extensive and will most likely rise.
I trust when I ride that all will go well. Trust, we have to have it in life otherwise insanity would set in.
Do you trust? Has your trust been violated, hurt, abused?
Have you lost trust in someone or something? How can you regain trust?
I am not an expert but I speak from experience.
Connections are made at train stations. Although I like to sit alone on a train, my last train rides were very friendly and conversations abounded. Did you read my post, "I will meet you at the station."?
On my last trip home, I learned that the older woman next to me was on one of the passenger trains that was stopped due to downed trees in a terrible storm a few months ago. She remembered the staff. They were the same ones who had to manually clear trees and branches from the tracks. Her stop was about two minutes away. No one could disembark early. It took awhile.
Connections: Train wrecks can be figurative and not every wreck alters lives in a devastating way.
School shootings, some divorces, and riots are also train wrecks. The experts will research causes and explain their findings.
What can we learn from the autopsies and then apply information to our own lives?
Do we have to watch a block buster movie with effects?
Who does the heavy lifting?
If you see a train coming and there are signs of danger, do you act?
The mother, in my previous post, had to act. She saw a wreck unfold in real time.
