I am a rock, I am an island

Two things can be true at the same time.

Figuratively, well, read other posts or book! Do you know that drill? Remember, each post can stand alone, but...they work together to inspire, annoy, or teach.

My work chat inspired me today. I voted "yes" to something others voted "no". Not life changing either way. My site is brick and mortar. My coworkers are virtual. I only work part time so I do not get to see them often. I also believe every vote counts. The supervisor asked for our input. As a member of the team, I responded. The majority won.

Most days no one sits in my aisle. Since the lockdowns, people are not fans of brick and mortar. I am. I also live alone but in a large building.

Viewed as stubborn, hard headed, convicted, truthful, etc by some, I am rock steady when I believe in something. I do not have a hardened heart. The rock I stand on is solid ground but storms have hit hard. Waves knocked me down but I have gotten back up.

If I ask you questions, it is because I have asked them myself, and answered.

ASK..it saves kids. It empowers. Asking can help you read a room even if it is only "What if". Asking can help avoid regrets.

ASK..JFK would be proud even in death, or maybe thankful.

ASK..you just may receive. The Rock I stand on does not lie.

ASK..how does this  song play out in your life or a child you know.

Remember, I ask also for children whose actions of killing, speak louder than words they voiced. Now they are heard? Death be Not Proud

Asking for Cruz, JT, AL, CG, EH, DK, the kid from Bend and babies in the womb. Why? Answered many times.

Read a few comment sections on these videos. They are always an eye opener to how people feel. And remember, to whom should you comment if you have an opinion on my posts.

Go back! Listen to the song, I hope it will stir some thoughts.
