You do not even have to read anymore than the title of the link to figure out this story. An angry person, mad at his mother, destroyed part of a university campus. Maybe she finally got fed up and wanted her son to grow up? Who is going to pay for the damage?

Lots of banter on the internet about people like this son. How do we raise our sons?
The list of schools and victims from school violence are extensive. The schools are infamous, the victims, even heroic ones, usually are not known unless they speak up. The victims such as AM's mom and dad are on a long list of parents of kids killed at school.
The mother and father of KA are on a shorter list. The parents of schoolyard killers are fewer because one kid can do a lot of damage and claim more victims, seen and unseen. It is an invited list too. Children send the invite too.
In 1999, the two Columbine kids got a lot of attention. The Columbine Effect is real. The mother of Dylan Kleibold was given a forum. She wrote a book. That grates on my nerves but I will include a link. I have absolutely no empathy for her. Not a fan of Oz. She is donating all profits. Too little, too late.

Since my blog is about connecting dots and seeing patterns, pay attention. At least mother Kleibold did not blame people of another color. Her son killed his "brothers" and "sisters" in cold blood. Then took his own life.
KA literally had blood on his hands from killing AM, no matter the justification. KA ran. The video does not show a gang beating him to a pulp or pulling out a weapon in response. They called 911 and yelled to the roaming adults to get help.
What can we learn from those boys after their teamate was killed in cold blood in from of them? Victim responses are often telling of their character.
What can we learn from mother Kleibold?
Maybe nothing but talking it out is much better than calling for a race war.
It seems that not only the son, KA, was listening to a vengeful voice. So are the parents.
I grew up in a hood in Plainfield, NJ. I post all sorts of voices. Here is a man's perspective. Many of the people I listen to are not white. Perception is everything I have been told. He has a word or two about mothers. It ain't pretty but we can learn from it.
